Re: Micheal Jackson verdict
never thought id see the day where we would condemn someone to the chair after a not guilty verdict
how many of those who thin he should die and "Got off because he's a celebrity" have actually looked at the facts of this case??? the boy and his mother had a lawsuit against jc penney in 1998 and it was found that he had lied in that case in order to get some money and his mother was clearly in need of psychological help
my question is since the mother knew he was sleeping with michael why didnt she stop it at that??? i believe michael sleeping with children (in the sense that he went to sleep in the same bed as a child, not the sense that he had improper relations) is wrong and he's a sick dude for doing so...do i think he molested this child? no...nothing in this case points to the assumption that he did
whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty? hell, you guys dont even believe in innocent when proven not guilty, how can anyone expect you to do the former???
the people who were out there blindly supporting him sicken me too though, they wouldnt care if he molested a child in front of all of them theyd still say he wasn't guilty...i also hate the people who said this was a racial thing, but i group them with the people who turn this into a celebrity thing, saying he got off because he had money...where do you get that?? did he pay the mother to act crazy on the stand??? just because someone has money doesnt mean they have to be guilty of a crime, the judicial system is not half as bad as you all make it out to be...imagine, if any one of you had any money, i could say you molested me and according to this board id be right just because you have some money, even if you were acquitted, which you should be, theyd still think you did it...that whole family lost their credibility when they took the stand, not one witness was halfway decent enough to take away the "reasonable doubt"...but you people dont even have a reasonable doubt to begin with
not speaking about this case, but this just perfectly illustrates how having a charge brought against you can ruin your life...because even if you are acquitted, there are always gonna be people who dont know the facts and still think youre a bad person
Re: Micheal Jackson verdict
You mention Innocent until proven guilty, and that many have him guilty no matter what. I was one who at first thought he was innocent. I looked up on the internet the statements made by the first boy who said Michael molested him, he gave a very detailed complaint. Note that his family was not this mixed up crazy fruits like the one we just saw in this trial. So in the end we all know Michael paid millions to keep this out of court. Which is one family he knew he couldn't put down in the mud and turn the tables around and say look at them not me. Also some of the testimony given by both accusers are the same in things that Michael did with them both, I find that a reapeat myself, doing the same thing over again just with a different boy. Then I saw on one of the news about the actor Webster when he was younger and a fan of Michael how they spent alot of time together and that was put to a stop when Webster's mother found out that Michael had checked himself and the actor in a 1 bedroom hotel under a false name saying that was his son. I mean c'mon what was he doing that for? Then also in this trial the boys father gave testimony about Michael wanting to take the little boy away for a couple of days just them two and the father said no he would have to go also, Michael agreed later on and when they got to New York there they went to a Apartment with 1 bedroom and no one else there. So in other words if Michael had got what he wanted they would have been alone for 2 days. I can only imagine what childlike mind he had too. No man 47 is going to cry and beg to sleep with a child. What is the reason in that? Also I believe in the testimony of this trial it was said that the first time this boy and his brother went to Michael Jackson's home he led them up to his room and there the first thing Michael and this other man did was pull up nude pictures and showed this to the brothers. Does that sound right to anyone, what was that breaking the ice? How about watching t.v. playing games, things normal kids do. Now we can go on and on over this but in the end he was found innocent, that don't mean people don't have their opinions about Michael Jackson. These are just some things that stick out in my mind why I feel he's guilty. The prosecution failed to do their job and the accusers family was not the one being accused of molestation Michael was, but it turned into a case against them. But I guess whatever took the heat off Michael was what he wanted anyway. I also believe if Michael was just a regular person and not a celebrity the trial would have been different. So I would just say a gut feeling says he is guilty, with that and actions he has already done made me think this. Now some may have more reasons why they think he's innocent and I respect that, I'm not the one who decided his fate 12 other jurors have already done that. I just hope this never happens again.

Re: Micheal Jackson verdict
This is a quote from an article I read about the verdict reading:
"Some of the women on the jury also wept."
Hmmmm.
Re: Micheal Jackson verdict
Michael Jackson is black? He looked more like a mime. He has had so many plastic surgeries he has ruined his body. This man is not right mentally, he cannot be. He has a lot of issues that need to be addressed, you must admit this. He sleeps with children that are not his. If I was a parent I would be outraged. First off my children would not be allowed anywhere near him if they could be.
Re: Micheal Jackson verdict
do i think michael is a screwed up guy who has probably molested "someone" in his lifetime? yes....was it this kid? no, more than likely not...there were just way too many holes in the kid/mother testimony
Re: Micheal Jackson verdict
why doesn't anybody blame the parents because he has had these acqusations(sp) brought up before so why let your kids keep going over their...to me the parents are to blame for just as much as jackson but i still believe he is guilty
Re: Micheal Jackson verdict
gcdevil I am a little bit scared right now since I fine myself agreeing with you there were just to many things funky in this case to find anyone guilty beond a reasonable dought in this case
